On 22nd January 2011, Veena Malik appeared on Express News TV Channel’s talk show Front Line with Kamran Shahid after returning back to Pakistan from India. Veena Malik took part in the most sensational reality TV show of India ‘Bigg Boss’. Unfortunately Mufti Saab who was on a live video feed could not defend himself against the furious Veena Malik. Veena’s only point was to stop all the other bad things happening in the country, then come to Veena Malik. I agree, there must be a lot of wrong things happening, but that does not mean that you start doing it too, and then say, “stop them first then talk about me”.

Ufone on-aired a TV Commercial of their new package “Minute Per Minute Free Offer” in which the characters are standing on a railway station, andĀ villainĀ is trying to kill the heroine. Everyone found out that commercial to be hilarious and laughed on it a lot. But just after few days, Mobilink strikes back with their new package on Jazz Octane “Jazz Bemisaal Ramdan Offer – 1 Minute Per 1 Ghanta”. Mobilink taunted the TV commercial of Ufone with the similar setup in which two guys are sitting on a railway station and laughs on the people who are busy watching the Ufone commerical of Minute Per Minute and tells them the Mobilink Offer. Watch both these commercial and decide yourself, which one is funnier?
As you all know I’m from Pakistan so I would like to have a little discussion about the Pakistani TV Channels. After the millennium (year 2000) the government started allowing private companies to open TV channels on a very nominal licensing fee. Before year 2000 there were only 3 TV Channels working in Pakistan namely, PTV, NTM (aka STN) and PTV 2. There was no concept of Cable TV system and the TV Channels were broadcast over the wireless wavelength signals which were caught by the TV Aerials (Antennas). As soon as the Nawaz Sharif government got over in 1999 the new CEO of Pakistan, Gerenal Pervaiz Musharraf started giving licenses to private companies to open new TV Channel.
